Rocking Horse Nursery School offers a flexible  2, 3, 4 or 5 day schedule.

What else does Rocking Horse have to offer??

In addition to qualified staff and an excellent learning environment, Rocking Horse offers a number of other experiences for your child.

If weather permits, we take a weekly walk to the Sherborn Library.  The children are able to check out a book of their choice to keep in the classroom and listen to a story.

Each week our music and movement specialist visits the children to teach them some new songs and actions.  Music days are varied so that all the children will be able to experience the fun!

Twice a month our Nature Specialist comes to visit and brings a "hands-on" nature related lesson.

Rocking Horse children take a yearly field trip.  The children are taken to the local apple orchard where the children are able to see how apples are grown and get a chance to pick their own apples.

Our year commences  with our "End of the Year Family Picnic."  The children and their families are invited to the school to say good-bye to their teachers and friends before summer begins.  A graduation ceremony is held for those children in our Pre-K program who are moving on to Kindergarten.  It is always difficult for us teachers to say goodbye to the children we have cared for all year long!!
