Early Drop Off
This fall , RHS will be offering an early drop off program on Thursday mornings. For one a
fee of $5.00 per half hour, you can drop your child off between the hours of 8:00-9:00. Due to staffing needs, we are
requiring a minimum of 24 hours notice. Please see your classroom teacher if you are interested in taking advantage
of this program.
Playground Attire
Just a reminder that we plan
on taking the children out every day when the temperature is above 33 degrees.
Please make sure your child comes to school with the appropriate playground clothing. Please make sure all clothing
is clearly labled with your child's name. When
there is snow on the ground, the children will be allowed to go outside. Unfortunately, if they do not have the
appropriate clothing they will not be allowed to play in the snow without appropriate snow gear!
Peanut-Free School
Rocking Horse is a "peanut-free"
school. Please keep this in mind when packing your child’s lunch. Please read packaging labeling carefully to see if an item contains nuts. You will be surprised at which foods contain nuts. Unfortunately,
we will not allow any child to open any foods that contains nuts and will have to send it back home in their lunch box.
Also, if you are planning
on bringing in a special snack, please include either the packaging label or a list of ingredients.
